Up on to Cout Down

Gravel route on Leigh Ln, Somerset, England

"This is a gravel track (road bikable) up onto Court Down. Once up there, there are multiple briddleways and by ways to explore. As far as I know, this is the leas steep and easiest way to get up to court down"

Canal - Basin --> Manley

Other route from Canal Hill to Manley Cottages, Devon, England

"Canal toepath from basin to manley, mainly toepath with a little paved at the beginig. Pan flat and doable on any bike. Please dimount to go under bridges as per rules and please refrain from racing too quickly; it is an attraction for familys and dog walkers, especially this section. If you are intrested, there is an information centre about the history of the canal at the basin as well as information boards such as the one about the crashed Canberra bomber near manley bridge."

Venford Hill

Gravel route from Venford Hill to Ridge Rd, Devon, England

"This is a packed gravel track mainly on Bridleway. This track is doable on a road bike so should be fine on a gravel bike (it is not steep and a track!) There are plenty of bridleways on Exmoor (Lots of wich are steep and can be muddy) however as I use a road bike I am not sure the sutibility for gravel bikes."

Short lane

Dirt route from Unnamed Road to Unnamed Road, Devon, England

"This section starts as a badly paved lane before turning into a gravely/dirt packed steep climb. The lane goes back to badly surfaced with big patches off dirt/animal muck. Whilest it isn't worth coming out just for this patch, you could route it on a ride when passing near, even on a road bike."
